There are many factors that come into play in determining a long, successful career in law enforcement. As a matter of fact, there aren’t too many professions that demand more of a person than those who carry a gun and wear a badge.
And there is another factor those who drink moderately and drive should consider — the Georgia Department of Public Safety DUI Force. Commonly called the Nighthawks, they patrol Columbus on a regular basis.
This year, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) celebrate the 30th anniversary of the designated driver and Tie One On for Safety®, their longest running and most visible public awareness project.
